Head Up & Head Down Display Desiccation (HUD & HDD)
From modern aircraft, to locomotives and motor vehicles, the use of Head-Up Displays (HUD) & Head-Down Displays (HDD) is becoming more and more common place.
The presence of moisture and the effects of pressure during ascent and descent or simple diurnal temperature changes, can be extremely harmful to these systems. Commercial or Military HUD & HDD can have major issues to the performance and integrity of the systems if the environmental conditions they are exposed to are not controlled.
We offer a range of desiccation devices to suit all types of systems, due to the high optical clarity that is required for these imaging devices; we can provide a range of ultra clean desiccant bags or ultra clean desiccators to meet these high cleanliness levels.
We also manufacture a range of small valves that can be fitted to your HUD & HDD to prevent any damage from variations created in pressure within the displays.
We also have a unique Dry Gas Purging System which can be used to remove all the inbuilt moisture within your equipment prior to fitting any desiccation device.
We can use our exclusive Moisture Vapour Transmission Rate (MVTR) Evaluation & Purging System, to determining the MVTR into your Head-Up or Head-Down Display (HUD or HDD), which can be done in house or at our customer’s premises depending on the size of the unit.
