Arcadia Desiccant’s TA495 series 4″ Access Ports provide convenient access to desiccant chambers, data compartments, or storage areas within containers—eliminating the need to open the entire container and minimizing exposure to external environments. These ports also offer a reliable means for conducting diagnostic testing on the container’s contents.
Each model in the TA495 series features a 1/4-turn tool-free cover for fast, easy access.

Port Compatibility

TA495-3: Features a 1.050″ (26 mm) hole for installing TA238, TA240-R, TA330, TA333-R, or TA340-R Two-Way Pressure Relief Valves (valves sold separately).

TA495-4: Includes a 1.265″ (32 mm) hole for mounting a TA440 Breather Valve (sold separately).

TA495-5: Includes a 2.015″ (52 mm) hole for installing a TA770-R Two-Way Pressure Relief Valve (sold separately).
Installation
Each port comes with a gasket, washer, and spanner nut for easy installation through a 4.015″ diameter hole in the container wall. Ports are intended for installation on smooth, flat surfaces only. They may not seal properly on rough, curved, or domed surfaces.
Tamper-Resistant Design
Pre-drilled holes in the cover and flange allow the use of safety wire or an inspector’s seal for tamper evidence and security.

The TA495 with solid cover is suitable for use with NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3R, 3S, 4, 5, 6, 12, 12K, and 13 enclosures, as well as IP66/IP67 rated enclosures. It may also be compatible with other NEMA or IP enclosures depending on application.
