Push-to-Open Design for Pressure Equalisation
The TA317 is a manual, push-to-open relief valve, designed with side venting to allow pressure equalisation even when operated by personnel wearing arctic gloves. It shares the same construction and mounting dimensions as the TA317 Breather Valve, fitting into a 0.51 in. (13 mm) diameter hole.
This valve may also open automatically if internal vacuum exceeds 6.0 psid. The TA317 version (without hex nut) is intended for threaded installation into a 0.500-20 UNF-2B boss.

Part number TA317 is supplied without a hex nut for use in threaded boss applications.
Applications:
The TA316 is suitable for use with enclosures rated NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3R, 3S, 4, 5, 6, 12, 12K, and 13, as well as IP65 and IP67. It may also be compatible with other NEMA or IP-rated enclosures depending on the installation environment.
