TB291 Weather-Shielded Breather Valve
Low-Profile, Two-Way Pressure Relief for Harsh Environments
The TB291 is a weather-shielded version of Arcadia Desiccant’s proven TA292-R breather valve. It is specifically designed for use in transit cases and similar applications with internal volumes up to 4 cubic feet, where protection against environmental conditions is essential. The valve provides independent and distinct settings for both pressure and vacuum relief.
With a flow rate of 0.5 SCFM at 1.5 to 2.0 psi above the set pressure, standard reseal pressure settings range from 0.5 psid to 3.0 psid.
The TB291 requires no field maintenance and is constructed entirely from corrosion-resistant materials. The internal seal is made from durable silicone rubber. Each valve is supplied with a mounting nut and O-ring, and its compact profile makes it ideal for small enclosures.
The conversion-coated aluminium housing supports the use of a conductive O-ring for minimal radio frequency interference (RFI) shielding. For applications requiring higher energy RFI protection, Arcadia Desiccant offers standard RFI shielding nuts (available separately).
