TA240-R Breather Valve
Hybrid Design for Medium-to-Large Transit Cases

The TA240-R breather valve is a hybrid solution combining features of Arcadia Desiccant’s TA333-R and TA238 breather valves. It merges the thread size and hexagonal profile of the TA333-R with the screened cover and cost-effectiveness of the TA238-R. Designed for use in transit cases and similar enclosures up to 33 cubic feet in volume, it delivers a flow rate between 1.5 and 4.0 SCFM at 1.5 psid above the reseal pressure. Reseal settings are available from 0.5 psid to 5.0 psid.
This valve is lightweight, durable, tamper-resistant, and requires no field maintenance. It is constructed from corrosion-resistant materials and uses a silicone rubber valve seal. A recessed manual pressure release button is standard on all TA240-R units, allowing safe equalisation of pressure or vacuum to facilitate opening the enclosure.
Each valve is supplied with a gasket, washer, and hex nut. RFI/EMI shielding and mounting flanges are available. Custom desiccant cartridge integration is also possible for enhanced moisture control.
Important Note:
The TA240-R is not designed to withstand high-pressure water spray or hose-down conditions. For such requirements, please use the TA330, TA333, or TA770 breather valves.
