Description
The TA284 Humidity Indicator Plug is engineered for high-pressure environments, supporting applications up to 500 psi. Its glass window is permanently fused to the steel housing, and the 3/4-14 tapered pipe thread ensures a leak-tight seal without the need for o-rings or gaskets. Installation is straightforward using a 1-1/8″ socket wrench to secure the plug into a threaded boss.
To protect the indicator card from contaminants, the plug features a porous filter and a polyethylene spacer. These components, along with the humidity indicator card, are securely held in place by a retaining ring.
Please note: lock nuts and gaskets are not included, as the plug is specifically designed for use with threaded bosses only.
The TA284 is suitable for use with NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3R, 3S, 4, 5, 6, 12, 12K, and 13 enclosures, as well as IP66 and IP67 rated enclosures. It may also be compatible with other NEMA or IP enclosure types, depending on the specific application.
