Due to the size of Night Vision goggles, Arcadia has developed a range of small almost stick like desiccators that can be fitted in the same threaded holes as the standard purge screws that are fitted to most Night Vision Goggles.
Although purging then back filling with nitrogen is used to remove any moisture from your equipment, fitting a Night Vision desiccator has proved to extend the life of your Night Vision equipment by 30%, creating a sustained operational life of the Night Vision devices as well as reduced cost in overall maintenance. These Night Vision Desiccators will adsorb any moisture ingress over time using the molecular sieve desiccant within them.
Our standard range of Night Vision Desiccators have M4, M5 & M6 threads, so that they can easily replace the standard purge screws used on these devices. They can also be painted red the same colour as a purge screw so that they can be easily identified when needing replacing.
