Desiccant Cartridges are designed to be the replaceable element filled with desiccant that fits on a humidity indicator or automatic breather valve. In some cases, they can be mounted to a blanking plug instead of a Humidity Indicator Plugs or Automatic Breather Valves where you do not need a visual indicator or any pressure relief.
Desiccant cartridges can be refillable and non-refillable depending on the style and size of the cartridge. The non-refillable cartridges are typically lower cost as they are designed to be disposable. Refillable cartridges usually have a filler plug or cap that allows you to open the cartridge and replace with fresh desiccant. Specific size refills packs that contain the exact amount of desiccant to refill your cartridges are available upon request.
Ultra Clean Desiccant Cartridges
These UC Desiccant Cartridges are designed to have low micron filtration from as low as 0.2microns for use with optical and laser-based applications. High filtration in optical and laser applications is extremely important as any foreign object debris (FOD), can affect the laser or optical path and reduce the effectiveness or damage the equipment entirely. These Ultra Clean Desiccant Cartridges can be fitted to Humidity Indicator Plug, Automatic Relief Valves or other types of mounting plugs or bushes.
