Activated Clay Desiccant Bags
Our range of activated clay filled sachets confirm to MIL-D-3634E, DIN 55473 & the AFNOR NF H 00321. They range in size from 1/16 Unit unto 32 unit bags. They are also available to the approved Food & Drug Administration (FDA) for direct contact with food and pharmaceuticals. Larger bags can also be supplied with Sewn Strings so they can be attached and hung up. Commonly used for electronics and semi-conductor packaging.
Silica Gel Desiccant Bags
Silica gel bags can be supplied to meet FDA standards for food and pharmaceuticals, as well as DEF 81-68/4 for Military Packaging requirements, the sizes range from ¼ gram up to 2 kilogram bags. Typically supplied in Tyvek material but other non-woven materials are available as well as bandoliers for all types of packaging applications.
Indicating Silica Gel Bags
Indicating Silica Gel desiccant bags are used when you may not have room to fit a Humidity Indicator card or Humidity Indicator Plug within your equipment or packaging. They change colour indicating when the desiccant is saturated.
Molecular Sieve Desiccant Bags
These more powerful desiccant bags can be supplied with selective types of molecular sieve for various equipment and packaging applications. Type 3A is used for pharmaceutical and medical packaging, type 4A for electronics and optical devices, type 13X for airborne equipment and electro-optics and type 5A for explosives and ammunition packaging.
Getter (Carbon): Odour and Gas Adsorbent
These products are designed to control objectionable odours and gases within packaged products for many different applications. Made of activated carbon, Getter has a highly porous structure and surface area that attracts and bonds with gases and volatile organic molecules.
2-in-1 bags (Carbon and Clay or Silica Gel): Moisture and Odour/Gas Adsorbent
2-in-1 products combine activated carbon with either clay or silica gel to control moisture, gas and odours simultaneously. See details above.
